Sixth Annual Tamil Studies Conference
Parimaanam: Images, Embodiments Contestations organized by the University of Toronto and the University of Windsor, to be held at the University of Toronto from May 13-14, 2011:
The plenary speakers include: V. Geetha ( Activist, Feminist Theorist, Historian and Translator from Chennai) and Daud Ali ( Historian of Ancient India, Professor of the University of Pennsylvania).
There will be more than 30 papers read by scholars, artists, activists and writers from N.America, Europe, S.Asia, Central America and Australasia.

Registration is now open and will remain open until May 6 2011, 5pm. After this date, all those interested in attending the conference can register on the days of the conference.
