Lecturers in King's India Institute

Following the appointment of Professor Sunil Khilnani as Director of the King’s India Institute, the College is seeking to make the first in a series of appointments to the Institute. The fields of interest for the development of the Institute are: business & socio-economic development; law & legal history; national politics, including recent political history; international strategy & defence; modern & contemporary history; the study of social change; culture & cultural industries; and, science policy & its history. Applications are invited for two Lectureships, with an appointment date from 1st September 2011. All candidates should have completed or be on the point of completing, a PhD.

The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience, within Grade 6, currently per annum £33,070 to £39,038, or Grade 7, currently £40,162 to £47,478, inclusive of £2,323 London Allowance.
